Stoke Creates, the cultural compact for North Staffordshire, is looking for a digital content partner to add capacity and further depth to its growing communications and conversations across the cultural sector.

The ideal partner will have demonstrable experience of producing sharply edited case studies and reflective interviews using video and/or podcasts.
You will have an understanding of creative practice within the cultural sector, and how the arts complement community development and regeneration. A knowledge of the arts scene across Stoke-on-Trent and its surroundings will be a huge advantage to you.
You will be interviewing cultural leaders and arts practitioners across North Staffordshire, and will need to lead with confidence and imbue that confidence in interviewees.
You will be working alongside a small team of friendly, motivated, and supportive creative colleagues. This commission will be managed by Stoke Creates Communications Lead, Jerome Whittingham, who will support you to develop relevant leads, ideas, and produce the content we need.
Content produced for this commission will add to Stoke Creates’ other existing and developing communications streams, including website, podcast, and online digital community.
The successful partner will be appointed by mid April, and the commission will run from May until the end of July.
This is a freelance role. You will be responsible for your own tax. You will need to show you have public liability insurance. You will also need to own the equipment and software needed to complete this commission.
The fee for this commission is £3,000. This amounts to approximately 10 days @ £300 per day across the 3 month period, paid in 3 monthly instalments.
Applicants are encouraged to submit a short statement outlining their experience. Please also supply links to examples of relevant content previously produced.
Deadline for applications is midnight on Sunday 7th April.
