Stoke Creates Exchange Forum
Stoke Creates Exchange Forum is an energising gathering of the city’s freelance artists and cultural stakeholders to plan, dream, help each other to get projects going, bid for funding, find work, network, hear about others’ work, find ways to support each other, and share resources.
The Stoke Creates Exchange Forum is a central element of our CASCADE initiative, designed as an anti-exclusionary space fostering collaboration and support within the creative sector locally.
Facilitating several in-person and online events per year, the forum aims to advocate for the arts network, connecting creatives across Stoke-on-Trent and further afield.
The Exchange Forum empowers members to identify their own needs, develop collaborative projects, connect with other creatives, and commission skills training, including digital skills for creative professionals and start-up cultural businesses.
The Exchange Forum supports members’ mental well-being and drives mutual support, effectively contributing to a connected and thriving creative ecosystem in Stoke-on-Trent. This initiative is pivotal for sharing resources, insights, and learning, ensuring the arts sector remains vibrant and inclusive. Through our Exchange Forum, we envision co-creating shared standards for creative practice, emphasising inclusivity, sustainability, and well-being.

At each Stoke Creates Exchange Forum gathering we run activities to get everyone talking and networking, and we hold an open space for everyone’s updates, offers and gaps – what do YOU want to share?
